Frequently asked questions

How do I pick the right colors for my retail brand?

Start with your business type (cafe, boutique, salon, etc.) and a mood (warm, modern, luxurious, playful). The business type sets a base hue (or use your own base colour), and the mood sets saturation, lightness and fixed hue offsets for the secondary and accent colours — close neighbours for harmony, a further shift for the accent. You get five roles: primary, secondary, accent, background and text. Change the mood to compare in seconds.

Is this free? Can I use the colors commercially?

100% free, no signup, no commercial restrictions. Hex codes generated belong to nobody — use them on flyers, websites, packaging, business cards, signage, anywhere.

What's the difference between this and Coolors or Adobe Color?

Coolors and Adobe Color are general design tools with far more controls. This one is deliberately narrow: you pick a kind of shop and a mood, and get a five-colour set with a role for each colour — a quick starting point rather than a design suite.

How do I use these colors across all my marketing?

Save the palette and apply it manually — or use liflio's Brand Kit on a paid plan. Brand Kit locks your palette across every generated flyer, social post, deal card, and giveaway page, so your brand stays consistent without manual color-picking each time.
